Full Console Tour

Console is the event content manager of the NFHS Network. Here you can schedule, edit, download, and watch your broadcasts. To get to Console, go to console.nfhsnetwork.com. (We recommend bookmarking this site on your browser.)

<span><b><i>Console</i></b> is the event content manager of the NFHS Network. Here you can schedule, edit, download, and watch your broadcasts. <b></b><i></i>You'll start off on the&nbsp;<b></b><i></i><b><i>Events&nbsp;</i></b><i></i>page.&nbsp; This is where&nbsp;<i></i>all&nbsp;of your events live (past, present, and future) and where you'll spend most of your time in Console.<br>For now, let's check out the rest of Console, and we'll come back to the <b><i>Events&nbsp;</i></b><i></i>area later.<br><br><br>

Click <span class=""><i><b>Dashboard.</b></i></span>

<b><i>Dashboard </i></b><i></i>gives you a quick look at your&nbsp;<span>past, present, and future events.<br><br><b>Upcoming Events</b> shows the next few events you have scheduled.&nbsp; <br><b>In Progress Events</b> shows any events that are live now.&nbsp; <b>Completed Events</b> shows your recently completed events.</span>

Click <span class=""><i><b>Event Report.</b></i></span>

<span><b><i>Event Report</i></b> is where you can get viewership data for your events.</span><br>

<span>Select a date range that includes the events you want data for, then click&nbsp;<b><i>Generate&nbsp;</i></b>to create and download a viewership report.<br></span>

The<span class="">&nbsp;.csv report will show the viewership data of any events that occurred within that date range. <br><br>This includes how many viewers watched the Live Broadcast and how many viewers watched the Video On Demand file after it was uploaded.<br></span>

Click <span class=""><i><b>Highlights.</b></i></span>

<b><i>Highlights&nbsp;</i></b><i></i>is where you can access any highlights you've created from your events in Console.<br><br>Click on a highlight's Highlight ID number to see more details.

Click <span class=""><i><b>SBP Support.</b></i></span>

Back on the Console site, click <span class=""><i><b>Producer Software.</b></i></span>

<b></b>This will link you <i>away from Console&nbsp;</i>to the latest version of the <b>Producer streaming software</b>.<br>

You will want to download the “<b>HLS Producer</b>.” <br><br>After the download has completed, you will need to unzip or extract the PlayOn!Producer folder and install the .exe file.<span></span><br>

You will also find the download links to software drivers for both types of <b><i>Video Capture Device </i></b><i></i>we support<b><i>.<br><br><br></i></b><i></i>You only need the drivers for whichever capture device you plan to use.<span class=""></span>

Back on the Console site, click <span class=""><i><b>Events.</b></i></span>

As said earlier, this is where all of your events live.<br><br>Search for an event by <b><i>entering in a keyword</i>.</b><br>

Click <span class=""><i><b>Advanced Search.</b></i></span>

Use the <b><i>Advanced Searc</i></b>h option to further narrow down your events.<br>

\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<p><span>Schedule\nan event by clicking on the <b>Add New Event</b> link.</span></p>\n\n\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<span>Schedule\nan entire sports season at once by clicking on the <b>Add New Season</b> link</span><span>.</span><br>

\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<p><span><span><span></span></span></span><b><span><i>Live Stream</i></span></b><span><i>:</i> once you have scheduled an\nevent, the easiest way to launch Producer (streaming software)\nis to click “Produce Stream” in this column.</span></p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<span></span>

\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<p><span><span><span></span></span></span><b><span><i>Event ID</i></span></b><span><i>: </i>this is the event's unique ID\n(also known as the Event Unity Key.)</span></p>\n\n\n\n\n\n

<span><i><b>Pixellot Event I</b></i><b><i>D</i></b></span><b><span></span></b><span>: this is the Pixellot event's unique ID and will only appear if it is a Pixellot-produced event.<br><br>A Pixellot event will have both an Event ID and a Pixellot Event ID.</span><br><br><br>

<span><i><b>Pixellot Description</b>:</i>&nbsp;<i></i>this will denote which Pixellot camera the event is scheduled to broadcast from.<i><b> <br><br></b></i></span><br><span><span>Pixellot cameras are identified with descriptors like</span>&nbsp;<span>"</span><b>- Gym</b><span>" or&nbsp; "</span><b>- Field</b><span>."</span></span><br>

\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<span><b><i>Title: </i></b><i></i>this is the\nevent’s title and is what will appear on the NFHS Network</span>.<br>

\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<p><span><span><span></span></span></span><b><span><i>Activity</i></span></b><span><b><i>:</i></b> this is the specific sport\nor activity of the event.</span></p><span></span><span></span><br>

\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<p><b><span><i>Start Time</i></span></b><span><b><i>:</i></b> this is the start date and\ntime of the event.&nbsp;</span></p><p><span>Clicking <b>Start Time </b><i></i>will toggle the sorting of events by date and time.</span><br></p>

<span class=""><i><b>Publisher(s):</b></i> the "author" of the event.<br><br>This will denote which NFHS Network page the event will appear on (usually your school page).<br></span>

<span class=""><i><b>State</b>:<b> </b></i>the state (location) of the event.<i><b><br></b></i></span>

<span><i><b>Status</b></i></span><span><i>:</i>&nbsp;the broadcast\nstatus of the event (i.e. if the broadcast is still scheduled or already complete).</span><span></span>

<span class=""><i><b>Highlights</b>:<b> </b></i>this shows how many highlight clips were created from each event.<i><b><br></b></i></span>
